Dear Family,
It
has been a great week. Schwarzenberg is a branch, much smaller
than Lankwitz and Altona. The
members are so fantastic. This
week we have had a Genealogy Display at the church and the church has
been open
to the public every day from 14-18. And this is no small display.
Schwester Richter went all out and made it look amazing! I'll
send pics.
On
Friday we had a Family History
Devotional mostly for the members, but a few members brought friends and
the
neighbors came to take a look. Schw
Richter had asked the missionaries to do a musical number during it.
Surprise! Ha, well it was for me at least. Elder Marshall is amazing
on the piano, so he played while
the four of us sang “As Sisters in Zion/Army of Helaman” in German...
None of us are singers...at all....
All I can say is that there were
definitely angels singing with us, because it went really well and we could all
feel the spirit.
Friday morning we rode our bikes to
our serving project. We help at an
Elderly Care Center. Ha-ha that
was fun :) At first it was a
little challenging figuring out how to ride a bike in a skirt while being
modest. Don't worry, I finally
figured it out! Sister Sadler is
not the biggest fan of biking, but we still practice. We try to take the bikes up our hill or
run up it every other morning for sport. Liebe Grüße from the Thunder Thigh Sister ;) Ha-ha it's
great.
Schwarzenberg
is very different
from Hamburg and Berlin. It is a
little more difficult to do street contacting because there are not very
many
people on the streets. We have been doing a lot more door to door, which
is not
my personal favorite, but it's great. We are really working on finding
new investigators. Please pray for us and those we meet.

the package. It got here on
Tuesday. I really appreciate it! I'll send you pictures. The dress looks great and I love the
skirt! Dad, remember how I would
make fun of you when you said you were going to ''hike'' over to grandma and grandpas
because it was not really a hike. You
should come walk around Schwarzenberg. Anywhere you walk really is a HIKE. I
love it, no sarcasm, I really love it!!
